If you register as a specialist, we also collect your services, district, price, working hours, business contact number, an optional profile photo, and — if you choose to share it — your approximate location. When you make a booking, we store the details you provide, such as the job description and preferred date.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate Karobar: to create and manage your account, to connect customers with specialists, to display provider profiles and reviews, to process and track bookings, and to improve our services. Specialist profiles — including name, services, ratings, and general location — are shown publicly so customers can find them.
Location information
Sharing your precise location is always optional. If you allow it when registering as a specialist, we use it to help nearby customers find you and to sort providers by distance. If you don't share it, we use your selected district instead. You can decline location access at any time.
Reviews and ratings
Reviews can only be left after a completed booking. Your name and rating are shown publicly on the specialist's profile as part of building trust in the marketplace.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. Certain information is shared as part of how the service works — for example, a customer's booking details are visible to the specialist they booked, and a specialist's public profile is visible to customers. We may share information if required by law.
Data security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure authentication and access controls on our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
